Mark Griffiths from WWF, where he lead global private sector engagement in climate and energy programmes, has joined ClimateCare and Natural Capital Partners. He will lead the group’s European business, working closely with clients in the region to deliver high impact, high quality climate action.
Natural Capital Partners and ClimateCare merged earlier this year to create a world-leading solutions provider for companies and organisations looking to meet ambitious climate goals. The appointment of Griffiths will further reinforce the firm’s expertise to help organisations with the transformation to a net zero carbon economy.
With more than 20 years’ experience working at large multinationals, start-ups and NGOs, Griffiths brings deep sector knowledge including target setting via the Science Based Targets initiative, stimulating innovation, promoting renewable energy and driving climate leadership globally.
Prior to WWF Griffiths was managing director at 2degrees, a venture funded digital platform provider. He also holds a number of non-exec and advisory positions, including being advisor to APX Axel Springer Porsche, being on the advisory board of CarbonSpace and being non-executive director to GreenCircle, the C2C circular marketplace.
The ambition, expertise and innovation of ClimateCare and Natural Capital Partners provides me with an exciting opportunity to work with the private sector to deliver the high impact solutions that make real change possible. I am delighted to join this highly experienced and passionate team to work with climate leaders throughout Europe who are committed to the relentless pursuit of action and results.
