Helping Microsoft go Carbon Negative

29th January 2021

We are delighted to be working with Microsoft to remove 100,000 tonnes of carbon through the Jubilación Segura reforestation project in Peru.

The company is taking a pioneering approach to climate responsibility. It has committed to go carbon negative by 2030, and remove all historic carbon emissions by 2050. It has a comprehensive strategy in place to meet these goals and has reported its first year’s progress on achieving them.

At ClimateCare, we work with forward-thinking organisations like Microsoft, to turn their climate responsibilities into positive outcomes. Our trademark Climate+Care approach helps organisations take a smart approach to addressing their environmental impacts by offsetting their carbon emissions through projects which also support sustainable development.

It’s great to be on the journey with Microsoft and we hope others in the sector will follow their lead.
